Two years on from their last hurrah, Parklife announce their 2021 line-up to swarms of pleased fans.

The country’s festival season was decimated last year as the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic continued to wreak havoc on the arts and entertainment industry. As restrictions begin to loosen across all of the four nations, Manchester’s Heaton Park is set to come to life again between the 11th and 12th September.

Heading up the lineup and making his UK festival debut is socially conscious rapper Dave, alongside Megan Thee Stallion, AJ Tracey, Mabel, Disclosure, Skepta, Celeste, Slow Thai and Jamie XX.

The list however does not stop here. Supporting artists include PA Salieu, Raye, Archie Hamilton, Lola Young, Barely Legal, and upcoming Manchester bred DJ, Olli Ryder, amongst others.

The announcement comes after event organisers re-scheduled the two-day festival back in early December. Controversial co-founder Sacha Lord told NME that they were confident that the event would go ahead as planned. However, he has said that they will be reluctant to comply with suggested social distancing guidelines, “I personally don’t like these socially distanced events. I think to go to a proper gig or a proper rave you need to be shoulder-to-shoulder in a hot sweaty environment. You cannot create that atmosphere at a socially distanced event”

Tickets are now all sold out, but organisers are running a competition to win 4 Weekend VIP tickets over on their Twitter. Competition ends 1st April.
