Single Review: More In Luv - Living For Two

The four-piece indie pop band from Merseyside, More In Luv, released their latest track ‘Living For Two’ on the 4th of February. In just four days the song has been streamed almost 1,000 times.

With a slightly different sound to their previous releases, ‘Living For Two’ has more tropical vibes with playful electronics, making it the perfect summer anthem. The latest track has a more laidback style than More In Luv’s previous releases, but still has their classic pop-bop ring to it.

‘Living For Two’ documents the band’s journey from where they’ve come from, and focuses on love, struggle and money.

The band released their first song ‘Maybe All I Wanted’ in 2020. In 2021 More In Luv accumulated a massive 12.6K streams on Spotify, and their music reached 63 countries.

“I don’t want to be famous; I just want to make that killing with you. I don’t want to be famous; I just want to make that living for two” are lyrics More In Luv repeat throughout the song. The lyrics follow the typical poetry of an indie song. The meaningful lyrics emphasise the journey the band has made, and how they just want to build a good life for the people they love.

More In Luv has a lot of potential, and ‘Living For Two’ has a good chance of skyrocketing this summer, paving the way for the band in the industry.
